Meet the Team
Beth and Zephie
Beth is one of the co-hosts on The Geekeasy. She has been a lifelong nerd, raised by two band geeks who passed on their love of Star Wars and video games to her. Beth is a big theater nerd (she even majored in it in college) and is the resident Disney guru. She can commonly be found watching horror movies and anime with her puppy Zephie and her husband Ralph. Her interests include cosplaying, researching spooky lore, ancient mythology, and learning about different cultures.
Zephie is the Geekeasy's mascot and is in charge of morale. She enjoys visiting the local Barcade here in Greensboro, cleaning the popcorn off their floor, and cheering on our team. Let's be honest, the team would fall apart without her.
Tim
Tim is the resident bartender and co-host of The Geekeasy. He enjoys playing video games, watching anime, and researching the latest in pop culture to make sure that the podcast continually delivers interesting content. He has spent over a year of playtime across the Borderlands franchise, has visited 47 of the 50 states in the U.S., and is an avid scuba diver. his favorite geeky topics include One Piece, comics, and tabletop role-playing games.
Ralph
Ralph is the editor and producer of The Geekeasy. He is a multi-instrumentalist and writes and records all of the music that you hear in the podcast. When he isn't playing shows, drinking a gin and tonic, or running errands for his wife Beth, you can probably find Ralph in a local trading card store playing Magic the Gathering. Ralph's other geeky topics of choice include history, Star Wars, the MCU, and most mainstream anime series.
Sydney
Sydney is the social media manager for The Geekeasy and is behind all of the online content for our podcast. She is our resident meme queen, photographer, and content editor. In her spare time she can usually be found playing video games, crafting, or watching movies or anime with the rest of the team. She is a fervent fan of the Bethesda games like Skyrim and Fallout. She also enjoys battle royales and tabletop gaming.
